Anime Expo 2010

So this year went pretty well I guess I can say that. I did more than what I expected. Even though things started out shakey and by shakey I mean shitty.... I was president of my Anime Club so I registered 20 members for AX. But because of the new rule I didn't know I couldn't pick up everyone's badges... So I had to call each and every one of those members and tell them they had to get it themselves... I'm sorry guys Dx So then I was yelling and screaming at everyone *especially on the phone* '>__> and my voice got shot, and I mean SHOT for the REST OF AX AND IT DIDN'T HELP WHEN I SCREAMED OR LAUGHED TOO MUCH WHICH WAS WAYYYY TOO OFTEN! And don't forget about not sleeping til 3/4am LOLLL and only getting less than 5 hours of sleep!! Good times....

So Day Zero was like shitttt LOL. Couldn't get badges for like 15 people, IT WAS FUCKING HOT AND SMELLED LIKE SHIT IN THE REGISTRATION LINE! I WAITED FOR TWO HOURS FOR DISAPPOINTMENT(well not really but you know it sucked ass)... Was gonna cosplay as Rukia one more time, but I said screw it D:

Day One went way better. It was the pokemon gathering afterall I went as a gijinka Ho-Oh! I rushed the "wings" and I thought it made it look like shit but I guess people liked it ahhahah! I wish I had a professional photographer or something so I can take pictures of my costume cause I never get any of it LOL   But anyways, it was a nice time seeing familiar faces like and (send me those pictures if you see this journal D:<) and some other cosplayers from last year that I don't really know the names of cause I'm shy @___@ Oh yeah I went to the opening ceremonies for the first time of my life LMFAO! Yay for loosing my voice more than I already had while screaming for the guests <3 And of course I met up with my other friend for the Avatar:The Last Airbender Beginning and Beyond Panel. Even though it started late I have to say it was worth it so much<3 I love all the effort the staff of A:TLA puts into their work, even after the series ended. My friends and I were at the convention center til MIDNIGHT waiting for another friend who was at the Nokia Club. It was hilarious though cause we sang SOOO obnoxiously (and with my shot voice it was even shittier than my normal singing and I don't think I sing good to begin with lol) and did stupid things to each other!  I can't remember much else of that day other than I was tired D:

Day Two was an okay day. I went to a lot of things that day. I went to the exhibit hall to see what there was to buy. I ended up buying five buttons (it was funny because when I looked at it I was like oh man I'm so contrasting because I had 3 fire characters typhlosion, ho-oh, and Zuko and then a water= katara and air= Zodiac Libra pin LOL). And I bought a cute shirt Then I went to watch Eden of the East with my friend out of boredom (THAT ROOM WAS FUCKING COLD LKAJFLASDJF) before we went to the FUNimation Sneak Peak Panel which was full of win <3 Thank god I went or I wouldn't have known about the TRIGUN MOVIE PREMIERE AKJFKSLJFSKFKAFKAJKAJFLJSDFKLJALSF <333333 I also went to the Laser Spectacular. That was not "laser" or all that "spectacular" I got a free glowstick though cause I jumped really high in the front lOLL LOLLLOLLL! The dance was really funny xD but the music was LOVE And then my friends and I went to the Who wants to be a voice actor panel, which I had to say was very interesting. When we got back to our hotel me and my friend stupidly watched Samurai Champloo til 3AM LOL LOL LOL. I blame him for talking about wanting to buy the DVD at the FUNimation booth for 60 dollars....

Day Three was pretty good too it was full of laughter. There was the super smash brothers brawl gathering where I met someone new ! While I was waiting to see where the brawl gathering was a team rocket member wanted to snatch me and I vine whipped her but she still didn't give up!!! so then I sleep powdered her I also  got to see Trigun: Badlands Rumble! It was so fucking hilarious and good IT WAS WORTH STRAINING MY LEGS/THIGHS! When the movie started you saw millions of heads pop up to read the subtitles it was funny yet horribly a3hoivzweje D:< .... But luckily (but I still feel bad cause I know someone had to be thinking FUCKK THAT BITCH ON THE SIDE HAS TO LAY HER ASS DOWN) I was at the edge and two Japanese speakers were behind me so I sat on my legs or stood up a little to read subtitles and got what the movie was about LOL. Then the best part of the day was freaking LAST COMIC STANDING. I NEVER  thought being so nerdy could be so FUCKING HILARIOUS! I never laughed so much about video games or pokemon EVERRR lol. THAT WAS WAY BETTER THAN FUCKING 20 DOLLARS DOWN THE DRAIN AT MASQUERADE (those losers!!) and its funny cause I"m not 18 but we knew the AX staff who was checking IDs so we got in nooooo problem <3 At least next year *if I do go* I can get in legally LOL! But OH BOY MY VOICE GOT SHOT AGAINNN... wait it never healed LOL!

Then there's Day Four. Today wass a typical last day. My group was supposed to wake up at 7am for IHOP, but we got lazy and left the hotel at 11 LOL.  So as our usual last day we went shopping!! I wanted to buy a phone strap but nothing caught my eye... I did buy an angry little girl bag, it was cute ! Otherwise that was my day. I left at around 3/4 PM because we were all tired out.... We went to hometown buffet near our hometown and went home.

I think all in all I had a fun time this year. I don't know if I'm going to go back next year because my friends might not @___@ Not to mention I don't like how they're charging people to go into the Nokia theater But I guess that's  what's expected : Well I'll see what's up later :] Maybe I'll go again and do more cosplays
P.S. I hope everyone that saw me didn't think I talked funny. Cause my voice was like shit before con even started which is sad LOL >n<
